. How long will it take from the time of delivery to your warehouse for incoming stock to be recorded on the intranet?

Sitrans Logistique has developed real-time applications that enable it to inform customers immediately as soon as a product physically goes into stock.

. Do you have a particular approach for sensitive products?

Yes. For warehousing and order preparation, units dedicated to sensitive and highly sensitive products have been set up with a very high level of product security and traceability. And the entire fleet of vehicles is tracked by satellite.

. We have a large number of references. How will you be able to incorporate that much data?

Our "zero paper" process incorporates order preparation using bar codes or references and real-time applications, and this enables us to handle tens of thousands of references in a very short space of time.

. Our company has substantial peaks of activity throughout the year; how will you be able to incorporate this in your logistics services?

The IT tools we currently use enable us to accept very significant peaks of activity while observing our customised job-specific applications and the quality standards to which we are attached.

In terms of reactivity, an order placed with us before noon could be sent out the same day, and instructions to prepare orders placed before 6 p.m. on Day 1 could be despatched the next day, on Day 2.

. Is it possible to have an area for warehousing or order preparation reserved for us?

Yes – we can dedicate a space for your company, either virtually or physically, on one of our operating sites. We can also invest in or develop a platform specifically for your activity, depending on the scale of your logistics projects.

. I have EDI interfaces with our present service provider. Would we be able to keep this type of collaboration with Sitrans Logistique?

Yes. Our internal IT service enables us to incorporate this type of service in our offer, at no extra cost. We are also able to develop specific applications for your activity in order to achieve gains in productivity wherever this is possible.

. We are in the perfumes and cosmetics sector. Are you operational within the constraints of the sector (peaks of activity, promotional operations, safety aspects, flammable products, etc)?

Our warehousing and order preparation sites are located in Chartres, in the heart of Cosmetic Valley, the competitivity pole for the perfumes and cosmetics sectors. As a result, Sitrans Logistique has a very significant number of customers in these sectors, and develops particularly suitable solutions for them.
